Group Counselling

Group Counseling …

Group counseling is yet another avenue available for those looking seeking help for the
meaning of their own experiences through the stories of others. You and several others will
meet on a regularly scheduled basis to work through issues brought up in the group with the
assistance of one of our licensed therapists. This type of setting is ideal for those who are shy
about telling their stories because they can learn and gain from the stories and experiences
from those around them. In a group setting, you have the ability to roleplay and practice
techniques you have learned to prepare you moving forward. In most cases, this leads to that
individual feeling more comfortable about identifying and overcoming their issues by sharing
their story and experiences. And you never know how much you could be helping someone
overcome their fears and issues by telling your story. Below are issues addressed:

  • Grief/Loss
  • Substance Abuse
  • Cancer Care
  • PTSD
  • Self Esteem
  • Anger Management
  • Domestic Abuse Support
  • Child Abuse Support
  • Stress Management
  • Interpersonal Development
  • Addictions
