Telehealth Counselling
Telehealth …
Telehealth, sometimes known as online counseling, is a type of counseling that provides the
same assistance with a licensed therapist from any setting and location you feel is the most
comfortable, including your own home. These counseling services are administered either by
HIPAA compliant virtual sessions or by telephone. Being in an environment that best fits you
will allow you to feel more confident in exploring and sharing your story with our therapists. This
also allows for accessibility and flexibility for both you and your therapist. By having your
session through telehealth, you are accessible to any one of our therapists that best fits you and
your needs. Distance and transportation is not an issue. And you have more options in terms
of scheduling an appointment.
Most importantly, we are living during some unprecedented times. The pandemic that has
swept across the globe has also presented some unforeseen challenges. We at Journey To
Recovery put the safety and wellbeing of both our patients and therapists alike as our first
priority. Because of this, all visits are conducted through secure online counseling. All of these
benefits translate to a more successful appointment for you, the patient. All services highlighted
in the individual service pages can be addressed through online counseling as well.
